Volunteers Needed – How about donating your time & doing something that interests you! You can volunteer to…
- Organize and schedule volunteers for next year (April through October)
- Run the WCU and SWCC service learning volunteer effort (September through April) – this position needs to coordinate with volunteer coordinator
- Coordinate the farmer’s market including market related events for next year (April through October)
- Coordinate the musicians for next year (April through October)
- Coordinate all educational programs at the store (adult and children) (April through October)
- Work the refreshment table at the store next year (April through October)
- Work the check out table next year (April through October)
- Provide publicity with papers, radio, and other community calendars (online and otherwise) – All year but heavy involvement April thru October
- Coordinate fund raising – including a fund raising campaign and at least two events.
- Implement annual events at the store – anniversary, veterans day, bartering day, apple pressing/story telling, treasure sale
- Coordinate the black box theatre and schedule three plays in the fall of 2011 – Gary Carden etc.
- Meet and greet volunteers at the store for Friday PM, Sat AM and PM, and Sunday 12 – 6PM – All year but heavy involvement April thru October

Cafe Challenge Grant
Buy a month of internet service for the café!
A donor has paid for phone and wireless DSL service for the TM Rickman store to offer an internet café starting August 16. The service can be accessed up to 40 ft from the store so if the store is closed you can browse in the driveway or on the porch.
Our donor will match dollar for dollar every contribution of $55 (Monthly cost of phone/DSL) made to support the continuance of the wireless internet café at the store.
*All donors will receive tax deduction receipt.
There is also a pc station at the store for use by those who do not have wireless laptops who wish to surf the net or check email.
